The Davidoff Aniversario line was originally created for Zino Davidoff's 80th birthday in 1986.  In early 2016 Davidoff announced the Aniversario No. 1 and No. 2 sizes would be discontinued.  On October 12th Davidoff will reintroduce the world to their classic No. 1 size with the limited edition 2023 Davidoff Aniversario No. 1.  

The cigar starts with a blend of smooth Dominican Visus tobaccos.  The binder is Ecuadorian, and the cigars are finished with a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf. The Davidoff Aniversario No. 1 has been meticulously crafted to offer a harmonious experience filled with notes of cedarwood, roasted nuts, and a hint of spice. Ten cigars are presented in the box.  One cigar is presented in a wooden tubo, just like the originals.  

Only 6,500 boxes were made for the United States.
