The name says it all. My Father La Opulencia is a rich, medium-to-full bodied blend that offers a luxurious flavor profile steeped in complexity. The filler is made with Nicaraguan Corojo, Criollo and Habano tobaccos. The dual Nicaraguan binders are Criollo and Corojo. And the elegant wrapper leaf is a Mexican Rosado Oscuro.
The My Father The Judge is a bit more full bodied than the original My Father line of cigars. Don Pepin used a blend of three different Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler blend. The Judge sports a dual binder of Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo tobaccos. The pristine wrapper leaf is a Sumatra-seed Ecuadorian.
The original Flor de las Antillas line from My Father Cigars was a huge hit as soon as it was released. The cigar debuted in early 2012 and went on to win the No. 1 spot in Cigars Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of the Year list.
Pepin Garcia decided to follow up on the success of the original Flor de las Antillas with the release of the new Flor de las Antillas Maduro. This new line of cigars keeps the original Nicaraguan filler/binder blend but changes the wrapper leaf to a unique Ecuadorian Habano Maduro.
