Fred Schrader, owner and proprietor of Schrader Cellars, teamed up with Michael Herklots of Nat Sherman to create a cigar that appeals to both the Schrader wine enthusiast as well as cigar aficionados. The result is the Schrader MMXIII.
These limited edition cigars are made in the Quesada Factory in the Dominican Republic. They're made with a filler blend of Nicaraguan, Peruvian and Dominican tobaccos. Both the binder and wrapper are Dominican. The cigars have been aged for over two years!
Truly outstanding cigars from one of the most passionate individuals we know in the cigar industry. Omar de Frias, owner of Fratello Cigars, was introduced to cigars 20 years ago while growing up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 2013 he released his first line of cigars. Made in Nicaragua, Fratello cigars feature a blend of Nicaraguan and Peruvian tobaccos paired with an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and finished with a gorgeous Nicaraguan Habano wrapper.
Ashton Symmetry reveals a beautifully proportioned merger of aged tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Silky Ecuador Habano wrappers unveil an unrivaled harmony of medium to full body, power and finesse. Crisp notes of spice and oak flourish early on, and praise an irresistible emergent cream. Savory nuances of leather and figs segue into a superb finish. Available in five soft box-pressed sizes, Ashton Symmetry escapes like a great secret and boldly inaugurates the inclusion of Nicaraguan tobacco into the Ashton portfolio.
