I just received some great news from Davidoff.  They're getting ready to launch Matt Booth's new Room 101 LTD line.  This year's Room 101 LTD is called One Shot One Kill.  There's three stunning perfectos in the line. The blend is made from Honduran Corojo and Dominican Piloto tobaccos for the filler. The binder is Honduran Corojo Seco while the wrapper leaf is Ecuadorian Habano. Very complex. Very rich. Very good cigars.

 

The first installment of the Quesada Q d'etat is called the Molotov. The cigar is a 5 inch perfecto and is available in boxes of ten. Only 1,000 boxes of the Molotov were produced.

We have a very small shipment of original La Flor Dominicana Salomon and La Flor Dominicana Salomon Maduro cigars coming in.  The original La Flor Dominicana Salomon was one of the very first cigars to feature Litto's Habano wrapper leaf.  The Salomon Maduro uses the same 2004 and 2005 vintage Dominican tobacco blend as the original Salomon but replaces the Habano wrapper leaf with a dark Ecuadorian Habano Maduro.

 

 

La Flor Dominicana just announced they are doing a one time only release on 20-count boxes of La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet Chisels.  The cigars measure 6 x 54.  It's the outstanding Cameroon Cabinet blend in La Flor Dominicana's iconic Chisel shape.  Boxes are due to arrive the first week of December.  This is a one time only release so make sure you grab some soon.

I'm very excited to announce we are due to receive one Pre-Release cabinet of the new La Flor Dominicana Factory Press IV.  The regular release is set for the first or second week of December.  For now we have single cigars and 12-count trays available.  The blend this year features select Dominican tobaccos from Litto's farm in La Canela.  The binder is Ecuadorian and the wrapper is Mexican. 

 

These great table lighters from Prometheus were created to help the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.  Only 1,500 of these limited edition lighters were produced.  With each lighter purchased a $10 donation will be made to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.  The 2011 CFCF Magma T lighter features a powerful triple-jet flame and a dual built-in punch cutter.  They have a gas level window that uses a blue dye to give you an accurate reading for your fuel level. 

 

The 2011 Xtremely Rare Holiday Collections just arrived. This is a great way to sample a wide range of blends from Arturo Fuente. The Holiday Collection gets you two each of: Anejo #48, OpusX PerfecXion X, Hemingway Classic, Double Chateau Sun Grown and Double Chateau Natural. We are also offering free UPS Ground shipping (only in the continental US) when you purchase the Holiday Collection. We will apply the free shipping when we process the order here in the store.

This year's Zino Embassy Selection consists of a blend of exquisite Ligero tobaccos. They used the famed Seleccion 702 Ecuadorian Sun Grown for the wrapper. These are full bodied cigars with a nice complexity of flavor.

 

 

The cigars measure 5 x 52 and are available in boxes of ten.  Single cigars are $10.55 and the box is $92.50.

 

The Limited Edition Davidoff for 2011 features a blend of five year aged San Vicente and Piloto tobaccos from the Dominican Republic. The binder is Peruvian Corojo while the wrapper is Dominican Criollo.

 

These full bodied cigars are made with select vintage and Estate-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos. The beautiful wrapper leaf is an Ecuadorian Habano Sun Grown. Production was limited to only 500 boxes of each size.

These have to be the smoothest Dominican puro's I have ever smoked.  The Quesada Oktoberfest is blended to pair with a fine beer.  These limited edition cigars are set to ship by the end of August.  There are two sizes available:

The lineup for the 2011 Opus22 has been announced.  This year they scaled back the regular release OpusX to only three cigars.  That means you get ninteen rare Arturo Fuente OpusX cigars in the set.

Paul Garmirian announced the arrival of two new sizes to the limited edition PG Symphony 20 line, a 4 1/2 x 52 Short Robusto and a 6 7/8 x 57 Salomones.  The PG Symphony 20 Connoisseur was already a very rare cigar as only the finest select tobaccos were used to create the blend.  The addition of two new sizes means very few of the Salomones and Short Robustos will be produced and the Connoisseur size will get a bit more hard to find. 

 

PG cigars are true boutique-style cigars.  Only the finest tobacco shops in the country carry his amazing cigars.  Jack Schwartz Importer is honored to be one of a few select tobacconists to carry Mr. Garmirian's fine cigars.  We've smoked every blend PG has ever made and these stunning Symphony 20 cigars are quite possibly some of the best cigars PG has ever made.      

The new AVO Limited Edition 85th Anniversary cigars should be in stores by March 24th.  We're taking Pre-Orders for them now.  The AVO 85th Anniversary is a 6 3/4 x 50 diadema.  These will have the smallest production numbers of any limited edition AVO with only 8,000 boxes released worldwide.  The filler is made from Dominican Piloto Seco, Piloto Ligero and San Vicente tobaccos.  The binder is a very special Pelo de Oro from Peru.  The silky wrapper is a stunning Dominican.

Don Pepin is set to release his newest My Father Limited Edition cigar in late April. The 2011 version will be a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. Not a whole lot of details on the blend right now. I do know they are a Nicaraguan puro and will contain some of the famed Pelo de Oro tobacco Pepin used in his 2010 My Father Limited Edition.  We're not taking Pre-Orders just yet, but you can get on the Notification list. 

 

We have these elegant Angelenos Collector's Jars available.  Angelenos are smooth, mild-to-medium bodied cigars that were blended by Don Carlos Fuente for Prometheus.  There are two sizes available.  The Angelenos Double Robusto Collector's Jar comes with 25 Angelenos Double Robustos (5 3/4 X 52).  The Angelenos Robusto Collector's Jar comes with 28 Angelenos Robustos (5 X 50).

The new limited edition Dupont Air Force set gets you a Dupont MaxiJet Air Force lighter and MaxiJet cutter. The case the lighter and cutter come in is actually a 5-count travel humidor. Only 500 of these sets were produced.

 

Dupont teamed up with Pete Johnson of Tatuaje cigars to create an amazing lighter/cutter combo set that commemorates Tatuaje's third installment of Monster Series cigars. The set features a Dupont MaxiJet lighter and the sleek Dupont MaxiJet cutter. Only 666 sets were created.

 

Only 1,000 of these beautiful humidors were made. Five hundred went to the European market and five hundred were set aside for the United States. Villiger is not releasing blend info for these cigars, the only thing I know is they were made in the Dominican Republic. Each humidor is marked with the limited edition number and comes with a humidifier and a digital hygrometer.

 

This beautiful collection of elegent perfectos is limited to only 2,000 boxes. You get two each of: La Aroma de Cuba, La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial, San Cristobal, San Cristobal Seleccion del Sol, and the new La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor.

 

The cigars measure 6 3/4 x 54.  You can order the full collection or singles in any blend.  Single cigars are $10 and the box of 10 is $100.

We just received our shipment of the new Limited Edition La Aroma de Cuba Lancero.  Ashton only produced 2,000 boxes of these new Limited Edition La Aroma de Cuba. This is the new Nicaraguan blend La Aroma de Cuba made by Pepin Garcia.

 

We were very lucky to get our hands on some Fonseca Especial cigars. These are normally handed out at Fonseca events, but we have singles and boxes of 20 available right now. The blend is amazing! The filler is all Dominican Ligero. The binder is a 1998 Dominican Criollo. And the wrapper is a dark, oily 1998 Honduran Criollo. Only one size is available, a 6 x 54 Toro Especial.

 

 

 

 

Only 1,000 of these polished stainless steel cutters were produced. The first 200 will be released in July with the remaining 800 coming out in September. This year's limited edition cutter features a diamond engraved Mayan theme.  We only received one cutter with this first shipment.  It is #18/1000

 

Last year's Zino Platinum Emperor cigars were absolutely outstanding. We've been waiting to see what Davidoff would do for their 2010 edition. The wait is over, we have the new 2010 Zino Platinum Emperors here. The blend is exquisite, it features a silky Ecuadorian wrapper with Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Only 1,000 boxes of 8 were made.

We have some individual Lost City OpusX limited edition humidors.  These are just the humidors, not the whole set with the 50 Lost City OpusX cigars.  We have both colors available, blue and green.  Prometheus only made 100 humidors of each color.

 

Each humidor comes with a Prometheus Humidifier and Digital Hygrometer.  These limited edition humidors hold about 50 to 70 cigars, all are serial-numbered.

 

 

 

There are a lot of new cigars that have been introduced in the last month or two.  While E.P. Carrillo's are not totally new I did want to remind everyone about how great these cigars are.  The Carrillo family, with the legendary Ernesto Perez-Carrillo leading the way, released these limited edition cigars as their fist cigar under their new brand name.  What a way to start!  These cigars are so smooth yet able to deliver a rich, complex abundance of flavor.  They are truly a showcase of Ernesto's vast experience and blending skills.

I'm very happy to say we finally received some more Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario cigars.  I'm even more excited to announce the price has actually gone down on these cigars.  We have all three sizes available, you can get singles or boxes of 10.  These gems were blended by Carlito Fuente in honor of his father, Don Carlos.  He used a special wrapper leaf on a Don Carlos blend cigar to come up with these stunning beauties. 

 

We are very honored to introduce our customers to the new Davidoff Puro Belicoso. The cigars measure 5 3/4 x 48 and come in boxes of ten. The filler and binder are a blend of Dominican Criollo, Piloto, San Vicente, and Olor tobaccos. The wrapper is a Dominican Yamasa. 

 

 

 

 

These were a great hit over the Holidays.  We still have a few sets left in the shop.  This is a great way to pick up some great hard to find cigars from Arturo Fuente.  You get "The Fuente Story" biography of Don Carlos Fuente. More importantly you get one each of: Don Arturo Gran Aniverxario, Don Caros Edicion de Aniversario Double Robusto, OpusX Tauros the Bull, and OpusX El Escorpion.

Paul Garmirian had Henrik Kelner and Eladio Diaz blend a magnificant cigar to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of PG cigars. The exact blend information has not been released. I can tell you that the wrapper is dark and oily, almost like an oscuro. The filler is a blend of four complex tobaccos, while the binder is listed only as a Havana-seed.

 

 

 

We're very excited to have another shipment of La Flor Dominicana Salomones arrive.  They're back in stock on our website now.  These were the first cigar to feature the exquisite Habano wrapper leaf Litto has been using on more cigars now.  These come ten to a box with single cigars going for $23 and the box for $230.

We are proud to announce the arrival of the new limited edition Partagas Benji Master Series Majestuoso.  Benji Menendez created these cigars to honor his mentor, Ramon Cifuentes.  Only one size is available, the 6 x 46 Majestuoso.

 

These cigars are now in stock.  We have singles available for $10.00 and boxes of 20 for $180.  The filler is a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan Ligero.  The binder is a Havana-seed Connecticut.  And the wrapper is a beautiful, spicy Cameroon. 

A rich, complex blend of tobaccos makes these stunning cigars some of the best to come out of the MATASA Factory. The filler has a blend of Ligero tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The binder is a flavorful 98-Criollo from the Dominican Republic. And the wrapper is a stunning Ecuadorian. Only 1,000 boxes of 20 were produced.

It's not very often where you get a second chance at an AVO limited edition cigar, especially now two years after their original release.  Well we have good news for you.  A small shipment of limited edition AVO L.E. 07 cigars arrived.

 

Only 4,000 boxes were released in the U.S. The original release was back in April of 2007. These cigars have a Dominican filler/binder blend with an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper.

 

 

The Edicion Inaugural is a limited edition cigar measuring 5 3/8 x 52. The filler/binder blend consists of aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The wrapper is a pristine Ecuadorian aged 3 years. Ernesto has exclusive rights to this beautiful Ecuadorian wrapper leaf so we are very excited to see his full line of regular production cigars when they are introduced in early 2010.

The new Davidoff 2009 Limited Edition cigars are here.  The name, Seleccion 702, comes from the special Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper leaf Henrik Kelner created for the cigar.

Here is a treat for all the La Flor Dominicana fans out there.  Three new cigars coming from La Flor Dominicana.  These are not regular production cigars, they're not even really limited edition cigars. I put them up on our "Cigars" page as "La Flor Dominicana Experimental Cigars". Here are the details:

Coronado Maduro



Dr. Litto "Frankenstein" Gomez was doing a little experimenting and decided to put a Maduro wrapper on one of his Coronado Corona Especials. He was so intrigued by the new cigar that he decided to have a few made up. When I say "few" I mean only enough cigars were rolled to pack up 83 boxes, and that is it. These have the same filler/binder blend as the original Coronado. The size is the 5 7/8 x 47 Corona Especial. Single cigars are $10.00 and the box of 24 goes for $240.

Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 1 Special Release

 

I wanted to call these Small Batch No. 1 Redux but Billy said redux has been used way too many time already. So these are Small Batch No. 1 Special Release cigars. A release of original Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 1 would normally be special enough. These Small Batch No. 1 cigars are made even more special because Litto replaced the original Sumatra-seed wrapper with the same wrapper leaf he used on his La Flor Dominicana Salomon cigars. The cigars were originally rolled in 2006; Litto was not happy with the wrapper leaf on them so he set them aside. After he finished his production of Salomon cigars he was left with some extra wrapper leaf. These are the cigars I am most excited to try. They're going to come in boxes of 20. Singles will go for $13.75 and the box for $275.



La Flor Dominicana Corona Habano

 

After making his Salomons and then re-wrapping the original Small Batch No. 1 Litto still had a fair amount of Salomon wrapper leaf left. What he did was blend up some Dominican tobaccos from his farm in La Canela and made some 5 3/4 x 46 Corona cigars with his Salomon wrapper. Litto couldn't make enough to have a regular production or limited edition cigar, however he was able to put together 700 boxes of 20.

 

 

These cigars were made in very small quantities.  Once they are gone they're gone for good.  Definitely grab some of these rare cigars before they are all gone.

We have some new additions to our Jack Schwartz Vault.  We just added three-packs of the 2007 Zino Platinum Crown Limited Edition Wrapper.  This is the cigar with the Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper.  The 3-Packs are going for $97.50

 

We also added a box of God of Fire Carlito, Double Robustos from 2005.  This is a 10 count box with the individual cigars in coffin boxes.  Price for the box is $220.

 

This year's Limited Edition AVO is a 6 x 50 Toro featuring an Ecuadorian wrapper.  The binder is San Vicente and the filler features five different types of tobacco:

Criollo, San Vicente Ligero, Olor, Piloto, and Peru Seco. 

All are specially fermented.  The AVO Companero promises to be a complex, medium-to-full bodied cigar.

Single cigars are going for $16 and the box of 10 is $160. 

 

A very exclusive piece, only 35 of these lighters are available worldwide.  This is pink solid gold with 192 diamonds.  The lighter goes for $47,000

We have a Prometheus Limited Editiion God of Fire 2008 humidor available.  Prometheus only made 300 God of Fire humidors, and only 50 in red.  The humidor comes with a Prometheus digitial hygrometer and a Prometheus Optima humidifier.

Here's a great sampler from Arturo Fuente. The Diamond Crown Holiday Sampler gets you one each of: Diamond Crown Maximus No. 10, Diamond Crown Double Belicoso, and Diamond Crown Cameroon Select. All the cigars measure 6 3/4 x 54. The set is packaged in a beautiful leather, felt lined, cigar case that can be reused as a cigar pocket case.

 

Dupont's Limited Edition release this year is the Vendome Collection.  Here is an early look at the new collection.

 

 

The Camacho Corojo Scorpion uses an authentic Corojo wrapper leaf from the upper priming. The filler/binder blend is not known. These cigars were rolled in 2004 so Christian could experiment with factory aging. A very small amount of cigars were released this year.

With five filler tobaccos, some aged for as long as 12 years, Davidoff's 2008 Limited Edition Reserva 12 produces an exceptionally well balanced, harmonious blend. A tribute to New York's architecture and design of the 1930's and 1940's. Two colors of lacquer help highlight the pale gold relief. This is the most ambitious Limited Edition to date. The items take three to four more man-hours than regular Dupont's. The lighters take apromoximately 120 hours of work (three times that of a normal lighter). The pens take 160 hours to make (over four times the normal amount).

 

 

Davidoff's 2007 Limited Edition release is an aromatic, full bodied, all Dominican robusto.  That's right, a Dominican puro from Davidoff.  They worked for years to grow a flavorful, pristine Dominican wrapper leaf.  Once they could grow the right tobacco they harvested and stored the wrapper leaf for 3 years, allowing for full maturation of the Dominican tobacco.  Davidoff's limited edition cigars always go fast.  We're expecting a shipment around mid-August.

DUPONT FRENCH LINE

 

The new limited edition FRENCH LINE from Dupont celebrates the "art de vivre" of these magnificant ocean liners. The shops of the Transatlantic General Co. were floating palaces. Dupont uses the elegant craftsmanship fo the French Line ships as a theme. The rivets and grids are reminiscent of the hull, banister, and rails of the French Line ocean vessels. All lighters and pens are numbered 1 to 1864 (ashtrays 1 to 864), in reference to the founding date of the French Line.
