Carrillo Core Line Maduro.  Ernesto is at his best when he's working with a Maduro wrapper and these cigars are a perfect example of his extraordinary blending skills.  He uses a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos for the filler.  The binder is a smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra and the wrapper is a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro.  There are eight sizes in the line, all come in boxes of twenty.

Ernesto just released some information on his new 2011 edition of  E.P. Carrillo Short Run cigars.  This year's blend will feature an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Dominican filler.  We're hoping the cigars will be here in late May or early June.  Three sizes will be available:

Ernesto is set to debut two new lines in the next few weeks.  He's adding a value line, a milder Connecticut wrapped cigars starting around $4.50/ea., to go along with his E.P. Carrillo Core line.  Around the same time he is also releasing a new limited production line, the E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series, based off his blend for the E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2010. 

 

 

 

Ernesto just announced a new limited production line of cigars from E.P. Carrillo. He is using the same blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos as well as the same Brazilian Habano wrapper leaf that is on the limited edition E.P. Carrillo Edicion Limitada 2010. Production will be limited to only 50,000 cigars each year.  There will be three sizes available:

These cigars were blended and produced for the casual smoker. Ernesto created a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler and binder. The wrapper is a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut that adds a nice hint of cream to the medium bodied, spicy blend.  Four sizes will be available in the New Wave Connecticut Edition:

Ernesto now has his core line of E.P. Carrillo cigars ready to go. We just received our first shipment of these great, new cigars. The filler is made up of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The binder is Nicaraguan while the wrapper is a smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra. The cigars start with some cedar and spice. The flavors develop into more of a creamy profile about half way through.

 

 

 

The popular, full bodied La Gloria Series R line now has a new size.  The La Gloria Cubana Series R No. 3 measures 4 1/2 x 56 and is only available in a Natural wrapper right now.  We have single cigars available for $5.75 and the box of 24 is $124.

 

 

 

The Edicion Inaugural is a limited edition cigar measuring 5 3/8 x 52. The filler/binder blend consists of aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The wrapper is a pristine Ecuadorian aged 3 years. Ernesto has exclusive rights to this beautiful Ecuadorian wrapper leaf so we are very excited to see his full line of regular production cigars when they are introduced in early 2010.
