Dupont scrapped the X-Tend lighter name and will be releasing these workhorse lighters under the new name, MaxiJet.  They have the same powerful jet flame, the same sturdy construction, and contemporary styling of the old X-Tend.  Five colors are available.  Here is a early glimpse:

State-of-the-art innovation meets classical Dupont styling in the new Dupont Liberte line.  Dupont has made a Line 2 lighter with a powerful, wind-resistant jet flame.  They have two styles of lighter, a Black Chinese lacquer and a Brown Leather.  Here's a sneek peek at the new lighters:

Paul Garmirian is all about fine cigars. His P.G. cigars are some of the finest boutique cigars available in the world. It is only fitting he had S.T. Dupont make him a pair of Limited Edition lighters. They are certainly limited. He had them make two models, the White/Red P.G. Matinee, and the Black/Red P.G. Soiree. Worldwide only 500 of the Matinee lighters were made, and only 300 Soiree exist.  We are very honored to have both a Matinee (#142/500) and Soiree (#142/300) lighter with matching numbers here in the shop.

 

 

We have a beautiful collection of Limited Edition Dupont Collectors Sets.  Some sets come with lighters and pens.  Others come with lighters, pens, and cutters.  The James Bond 007 Collectors Set gets you everything already mentioned plus a keyring and a set of cufflinks.  These are from Dupont so you know the craftmanship and materials are top notch.

 

A tribute to New York's architecture and design of the 1930's and 1940's. Two colors of lacquer help highlight the pale gold relief. This is the most ambitious Limited Edition to date. The items take three to four more man-hours than regular Dupont's. The lighters take apromoximately 120 hours of work (three times that of a normal lighter). The pens take 160 hours to make (over four times the normal amount).

DUPONT FRENCH LINE

 

The new limited edition FRENCH LINE from Dupont celebrates the "art de vivre" of these magnificant ocean liners. The shops of the Transatlantic General Co. were floating palaces. Dupont uses the elegant craftsmanship fo the French Line ships as a theme. The rivets and grids are reminiscent of the hull, banister, and rails of the French Line ocean vessels. All lighters and pens are numbered 1 to 1864 (ashtrays 1 to 864), in reference to the founding date of the French Line.
