I just received some great news from Davidoff.  They're getting ready to launch Matt Booth's new Room 101 LTD line.  This year's Room 101 LTD is called One Shot One Kill.  There's three stunning perfectos in the line. The blend is made from Honduran Corojo and Dominican Piloto tobaccos for the filler. The binder is Honduran Corojo Seco while the wrapper leaf is Ecuadorian Habano. Very complex. Very rich. La Flor Dominicana just announced the creation of a new Candela-wrapped line of cigars. The La Flor Dominicana Double Claro will feature a unique Ecuadorian Claro wrapper. Litto Gomez used a blend of Dominican tobaccos for the filler and finished it with a Nicaraguan binder. Three sizes are available in the line.

 

Great news, the amazing Casa Magna Colorado is now allowed to be sold on the internet.  We just got the "OK" from the folks at Casa Magna so they're up on our website now.  We have single cigars and boxes in just about every size available, including the new Casa Magna Colorado Sanchos tins. 

 

 

Check this out.  Paul Garmirian was kind enough to send us a few boxes of vintage PG cigars.  These cigars were rolled back in 1995!  We have four sizes in the shop right now, single cigars and boxes of twenty-five are available. 

 

We have a very small shipment of original La Flor Dominicana Salomon and La Flor Dominicana Salomon Maduro cigars coming in.  The original La Flor Dominicana Salomon was one of the very first cigars to feature Litto's Habano wrapper leaf.  The Salomon Maduro uses the same 2004 and 2005 vintage Dominican tobacco blend as the original Salomon but replaces the Habano wrapper leaf with a dark Ecuadorian Habano Maduro.

 

We just received some information on the new Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 4.  Like previous Small Batch these ones will come in cabinets of 105.  The blend on the Small Batch No. 4 is made from select 2006 vintage Dominican tobaccos.  The dark wrapper leaf is a Dominican Pelo de Oro. 

 

The new God of Fire Serie B is now in stock!  Single cigars and boxes of ten still available in both sizes. 

 

The Holiday release of Fuente Hemingway Maduro cigars should be here soon.  These special cigars replace the standard Cameroon wrapper leaf on the regular release Hemingway line with a smooth Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro.  Smoke one of these Hemingway Maduros and see how much difference a wrapper leaf makes.

La Flor Dominicana just announced they are doing a one time only release on 20-count boxes of La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet Chisels.  The cigars measure 6 x 54.  It's the outstanding Cameroon Cabinet blend in La Flor Dominicana's iconic Chisel shape.  Boxes are due to arrive the first week of December.  This is a one time only release so make sure you grab some soon.

This year's Zino Embassy Selection consists of a blend of exquisite Ligero tobaccos. They used the famed Seleccion 702 Ecuadorian Sun Grown for the wrapper. These are full bodied cigars with a nice complexity of flavor.

These elegant cigars use a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos from both Don Pepin Garcia as well as the venerable Oliva Tobacco Company. The dark, oily wrapper is a superb Connecticut Broadleaf.

Paul Garmirian announced the arrival of two new sizes to the limited edition PG Symphony 20 line, a 4 1/2 x 52 Short Robusto and a 6 7/8 x 57 Salomones.  The PG Symphony 20 Connoisseur was already a very rare cigar as only the finest select tobaccos were used to create the blend.  The addition of two new sizes means very few of the Salomones and Short Robustos will be produced and the Connoisseur size will get a bit more hard to find.

Don Pepin is set to release his newest My Father Limited Edition cigar in late April. The 2011 version will be a 6 1/2 x 52 Toro. Not a whole lot of details on the blend right now. I do know they are a Nicaraguan puro and will contain some of the famed Pelo de Oro tobacco Pepin used in his 2010 My Father Limited Edition.  We're not taking Pre-Orders just yet, but you can get on the Notification list.

The Casa Magna Oscuro debuted at the 2009 Tobacco Trade Show, however, not many folks have heard about these great cigars because they were not allowed to be sold over the internet.  Casa Magna just lifted the ban on internet sales so now we're letting the whole world know about these excellent Honduran gems. 

 

 

This new Casa Magna is made in Honduras with a dark, oily Honduran Oscuro wrapper. The filler is made up of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos while the binder is Honduran. Five sizes available.

Ernesto now has his core line of E.P. Carrillo cigars ready to go. We just received our first shipment of these great, new cigars. The filler is made up of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The binder is Nicaraguan while the wrapper is a smooth Ecuadorian Sumatra. The cigars start with some cedar and spice. The flavors develop into more of a creamy profile about half way through.

 

 

 

AVO Heritage is a new line introduced at the 2010 Trade Show. The cigars feature a Dominican Ligero and Peruvian Seco blend of filler tobaccos. The binder is Dominican. The wrapper is a special Ecuadorian hybrid.  These are definitely stronger than most AVO cigars.  The addition of the Dominican Ligero tobacco really brings out the strength and complexity.  These fantastic cigars start with spicy flavors and end with a great creamy finish.

 

 

Only 1,000 of these beautiful humidors were made. Five hundred went to the European market and five hundred were set aside for the United States. Villiger is not releasing blend info for these cigars, the only thing I know is they were made in the Dominican Republic. Each humidor is marked with the limited edition number and comes with a humidifier and a digital hygrometer.

Pepin Garcia has been working on these cigars for over two years now.  His efforts have truly paid off with his latest creation, the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor.  The cigars have aged Nicaraguan tobacco for the filler/binder blend.  The wrapper leaf is an elegant Cuban-seed Mexican Maduro.  The blend brings you through hints of sweetness, cedar and spice (just to name a few).  The flavors are like no other I have ever experienced. 

 

All five sizs are in the shop right now.  We have singles and boxes available.  These cigars are easily in the top three new cigars to come out of this year's tobacco trade show.

We just received our shipment of the new Limited Edition La Aroma de Cuba Lancero.  Ashton only produced 2,000 boxes of these new Limited Edition La Aroma de Cuba. This is the new Nicaraguan blend La Aroma de Cuba made by Pepin Garcia.

 

We were very lucky to get our hands on some Fonseca Especial cigars. These are normally handed out at Fonseca events, but we have singles and boxes of 20 available right now. The blend is amazing! The filler is all Dominican Ligero. The binder is a 1998 Dominican Criollo. And the wrapper is a dark, oily 1998 Honduran Criollo. Only one size is available, a 6 x 54 Toro Especial.

 

 

 

 

I am very happy to let everyone know we are now carrying Alec Bradley Prensado cigars.  The Alec Bradley Prensado is a box pressed cigar with an amazing rosado hued 2006 Honduran Corojo wrapper. The binder is Honduran and the filler blend consists of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. These cigars are a solid medium-to-full body smoke with an abundance of complexity.  We have all five sizes in stock. 

Pete Johnson has created yet another stunning cigar with his new Tatuaje 2008 La Verite.  These very special cigars are a single vintage, single farm blend made from Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested in 2008.  That means all the tobacco was not only taken from just one vintage year (2008) it was tobacco grown on only one farm (Pepin Garcia's in Nicaragua). Pete took a little different approach when aging the tobacco. Instead of aging it in bales he let the cigars age after they were rolled. This is something that has never been done in the cigar industry. The result is a cigar bursting with complexity. They have a very smooth spice to them with just a slight hint of sweetness.

 

 

Last year's Zino Platinum Emperor cigars were absolutely outstanding. We've been waiting to see what Davidoff would do for their 2010 edition. The wait is over, we have the new 2010 Zino Platinum Emperors here. The blend is exquisite, it features a silky Ecuadorian wrapper with Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. Only 1,000 boxes of 8 were made.

These cigars look a little different to you?  They should because they are part of a brand new concept by the folks of La Gloria Cubana.  The cigar starts out with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. About a quarter of the way through it turns into a Sumatar-seed Ecuadorian wrapper. The blending is excellent and the two wrapper leafs bring out incredible complexity.

The big Gran Toro is the smoothest of all the Angelenos. It is one of those rare cigars that smokes easy, yet delivers a complex and interesting blend of flavors. The peppery notes of the Lonsdale are gone, replaced by hints of cinnamon that become more pronounced as the cigar burns down.

 

 

This years AVO Limited Edition cigar is big and bold. The AVO LE10 measures 5 1/2 x 55 and is available in boxes of ten. The blend is absolutely extraordinary. Paul Garmirian had Henrik Kelner and Eladio Diaz blend a magnificant cigar to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of PG cigars. The exact blend information has not been released. I can tell you that the wrapper is dark and oily, almost like an oscuro. The filler is a blend of four complex tobaccos, while the binder is listed only as a Havana-seed.

There are three blends in the HC Series.  I decided to bring in the medium and full bodies versions. 

 

If you were a fan of the popular Defiance line this is the cigar for you. Same blend, just a different band on it. A perfectly balanced, medium-bodied cigar. The dark, attractive Shade Grown Criollo wrapper aged 4 years is impeccable. This tasty cigar masterfully balances leathery flavors with pleasant tea intonations and Caramel notes!

 

Wrapped in a beautiful cocoa colored wrapper, the Habano Colorado is a smooth, rich tasting cigar with chocolate notes. The well aged tobacco makes for an interesting medium to full bodied cigar that is moderately strong with just a hint of sweetness.

 

 

 

The Edicion Inaugural is a limited edition cigar measuring 5 3/8 x 52. The filler/binder blend consists of aged Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos. The wrapper is a pristine Ecuadorian aged 3 years. This is a very special cigar created by Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana.  Litto made these cigars to benefit the Latin art museum, El Museo del Barrio, in Harlem, New York.  Litto and Inez Gomez worked with Ruben and Isobel Toledo on this project.  Isobel Toledo is a fashion designer and Ruben is an artist; both are Cuban-American.  Only 2,000 boxes were made.  Ruben Toledo designed the artwork for the boxes and the bands on the cigars.  Each box is numbered with a certificate of authenticity signed by Ruben Toledo.  El Museo is in stock now.  We were only able to get our hands on a couple boxes so they will not last long.

 

 

 

 

Here is a treat for all the La Flor Dominicana fans out there.  Three new cigars coming from La Flor Dominicana.  These are not regular production cigars, they're not even really limited edition cigars. I put them up on our "Cigars" page as "La Flor Dominicana Experimental Cigars". Here are the details:

Coronado Maduro



Dr. Litto "Frankenstein" Gomez was doing a little experimenting and decided to put a Maduro wrapper on one of his Coronado Corona Especials. He was so intrigued by the new cigar that he decided to have a few made up. When I say "few" I mean only enough cigars were rolled to pack up 83 boxes, and that is it. These have the same filler/binder blend as the original Coronado. The size is the 5 7/8 x 47 Corona Especial. Single cigars are $10.00 and the box of 24 goes for $240.

Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 1 Special Release

 

I wanted to call these Small Batch No. 1 Redux but Billy said redux has been used way too many time already. So these are Small Batch No. 1 Special Release cigars. A release of original Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 1 would normally be special enough. These Small Batch No. 1 cigars are made even more special because Litto replaced the original Sumatra-seed wrapper with the same wrapper leaf he used on his La Flor Dominicana Salomon cigars. The cigars were originally rolled in 2006; Litto was not happy with the wrapper leaf on them so he set them aside. After he finished his production of Salomon cigars he was left with some extra wrapper leaf. These are the cigars I am most excited to try. They're going to come in boxes of 20. Singles will go for $13.75 and the box for $275.



La Flor Dominicana Corona Habano

 

After making his Salomons and then re-wrapping the original Small Batch No. 1 Litto still had a fair amount of Salomon wrapper leaf left. What he did was blend up some Dominican tobaccos from his farm in La Canela and made some 5 3/4 x 46 Corona cigars with his Salomon wrapper. Litto couldn't make enough to have a regular production or limited edition cigar, however he was able to put together 700 boxes of 20.

 

 

These cigars were made in very small quantities.  Once they are gone they're gone for good.  Definitely grab some of these rare cigars before they are all gone.

We have some new additions to our Jack Schwartz Vault.  We just added three-packs of the 2007 Zino Platinum Crown Limited Edition Wrapper.  This is the cigar with the Nicaraguan Criollo wrapper.  The 3-Packs are going for $97.50

 

We also added a box of God of Fire Carlito, Double Robustos from 2005.  This is a 10 count box with the individual cigars in coffin boxes.  Price for the box is $220.

San Cristobal added a new size to their line.  The Papagayo measures 5 3/4 x 55 with singles going for $9.25 and a box of 21 for $170.  These new cigars are available right now on our website.

 

 

This year's Limited Edition AVO is a 6 x 50 Toro featuring an Ecuadorian wrapper.  The binder is San Vicente and the filler features five different types of tobacco:

Criollo, San Vicente Ligero, Olor, Piloto, and Peru Seco. 

All are specially fermented.  The AVO Companero promises to be a complex, medium-to-full bodied cigar.

Single cigars are going for $16 and the box of 10 is $160. 

 

Tatuaje just release a new cigar made in their factory in Nicaragua.  The Tatuaje Ambos Mundos (Both Worlds) takes cigars with similar filler/binder blends and slaps either an Ecudorian Sumatra or a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper on them.  There are only two sizes available; Toro and Robusto.  These are excellent, economical Tatuaje cigars. 

 

 

Originally $270, while supplies last we are offering these Camacho Traveller Bags (including the 20 cigars) for $175.  The Camacho Traveller Bag comes with 20 Camacho Signature Blends cigars. That's four each of: Camacho Diploma 11/18, Camacho Liberty 2007, Camacho 10th Anniversary 11/18, Camacho Triple Maduro 11/18, and the yet-to-be-released Camacho CLE (Christian's very own personal cigar).

Rich, well balanced and complex, Isla de Cuba's Blend 376 delivers subtle flavors of cocoa, nuts and coffee. These cigars are aged for a minimum of 120 days to allow the complexity of flavors to develop.

The new CAO LX2 are here!  If you want a strong cigar you look for something with a little Ligero in it.  If you want a powerhouse cigar full of flavor you look for a CAO LX2 (that's double the ligero).  CAO LX2 features a Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper, Honduran binder, and two different ligero fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.  Three sizes are available.

 

 

Here's a great sampler from Arturo Fuente. The Diamond Crown Holiday Sampler gets you one each of: Diamond Crown Maximus No. 10, Diamond Crown Double Belicoso, and Diamond Crown Cameroon Select. All the cigars measure 6 3/4 x 54. The set is packaged in a beautiful leather, felt lined, cigar case that can be reused as a cigar pocket case.

 

It looks like La Flor Dominicana will have a new 7 x 64 Salomon available this year.  There is no blend information available for these but I do know they're calling it the La Flor Dominicana Ligero Salomones.  These are going to come in boxes of 10 with only 300 boxes being produced.  Singles will be going for $23 and the box for $230.  The new La Flor Dominicana Ligero Salomones should be available in early December.  We have them available for Pre-Order right now.

 

 

 

Look for the new Ashton ESG in the next couple weeks.  The Ashton ESG Pyramid is the third installment of Ahshton's ESG line.  The cigar measures 6 x 52.

This years new La Flor Dominicana Factory Press is here.  The La Flor Dominicana Factory Press III measures 6 1/4 x 54 and features a Connectucut-Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.  The binder is Nicaraguan, giving the new Factory Press III spice and complexity.  The filler blend is all Dominican tobacco grown on Litto's farm in La Canela.

 

Don Pepin's latest creation, My Father, are now in the store.  These are full bodied Nicaraguan cigars.  Pepin uses a beautiful Ecuadorian wrapper to create a well balanced, rich smoke.  Four sizes are available.

The Camacho Corojo Scorpion uses an authentic Corojo wrapper leaf from the upper priming. The filler/binder blend is not known. These cigars were rolled in 2004 so Christian could experiment with factory aging. A very small amount of cigars were released this year.

We are very happy to announce we have Camacho Scorpion cigars in stock right now.

Alec Bradley Tempus are now in stock.  These great, new cigars feature Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, a Honduran Criollo 98 binder, and a Honduran Criollo 98 wrapper.

Davidoff pays homage to the world's best know cigar smoker, Winston Churchill. Davidoff created four sizes, each named for a significant place and chapter which affected and formed Mr. Churchill's remarkable life. Davidoff blended the Winston Churchill to be a rich, full-bodied smoke. The binder is a Dominican Yamasa, while 5 tobaccos make up the filler. The dark, Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper provides the perfect amount of strength and complexity a connoisseur looks for.

An addition to the very popular Fonseca Cubano line, the Fonseca Cubano Viso Fuerte are another great full-bodied smoke from Manuel Quesada. Manuel Quesada teamed up with his good friend Nestor Plasencia to create a full bodied Nicaraguan Puro. Made in Nestor's factory in Esteli, Nicaragua the Casa Magna has amazing depth and complexity. They used a special Ligero Cuban seed Colorado wrapper that is beautiful and oily. This could be one of the best cigars Manuel has made, an absolute pleasure to smoke.

Carlito originally made the Don Arturo Gran Aniverxario in 2001 and planned to start releasing them in small quantities every year starting in 2002.  These cigars were made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Arturo Fuente Cigars Co., which was founded by Carlito's grandfather in 1912.

The Don Carlos Gran Aniverxario was never released and has been sitting in the Fuente aging room since 2001.  These cigars will finally be made available to the public this fall.  Carlito released the cigars to help celebrate the release of his father's autobiography, "The Fuente Story: Passion behind the Tradition and Legacy".

 

ForbiddenX cigars are back.  This Journey set gets you four Fuente ForbiddenX Toro cigars from 2004.

Cigars this innovative are few and far between.  Hub cigars are based on the principle that cigars don't hit their "sweet spot" till the last 3 to 4 inches.  For that very reason you won't find a single Nub cigar longer than 4 inches.  There are three blends of Nub, each featuring one size only available in that particular line.

 

 

 

Nub Habano is the fullest bodied blend of the three.  The Nicaraguan Habano wrapper adds a punch to the Nicaraguan filler/binder blend.  The Nub Habano 466 is exclusive to the line.

 

 

Nub Connecticut is the mildest of the three lines.  Don't let the Connecticut-seed Ecuadorian wrapper fool you, though.  The Nub Connecticut delivers an amazing amount of flavor and complexity.  Tha smallest ring gauge they make, the 354, is only available in the Nub Connecticut line.

 

 

The Nub Cameroon delivers rich notes of cedar and coffee.  They smoke medium bodied and have a distinct character.  You'll only find the 466BPT (Box Pressed Torpedo) in the Nub Cameroon.

"Sometimes you just need a powerful corona to make your day right, and it's hard to find a better choice than the Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles.  This 4 5/8-inch x 42-ring cigar is crammed with strong black cherry, spice and leather, and the finish is a mile long.  We found it the strongest of the six-size Havana VI line, and our favorite of the bunch. 

Original Tatuajes, which were made in Miami, are hard to find, given their limited production.  Havana VIs, the "red label" versions, are made in Nicaragua and easier to find.  They're also cheaper, thanks to the lower cost of labor in Nicaragua.  As with all Tatuajes, these are made by Jose "Pepin" Garcia."

Here is another new size cigar from Ashton.  This one is in their Classic Line.  The cigar is called the Ashton Majesty and measures 6 x 56.  Singles are $9.75 and a box of 25 goes for $214.  These cigars are here in the shop and ready to ship.

Ashton has announced the addition of a new size to their line of San Cristobal cigars.  The San Cristobal Francisco is a corona measuring 5 1/2 x 44.  Single cigars are going for $7.25 and a box of 22 is $154.  These should be shipping to stores later in December.

Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana just announced a special Limited Release cigar due out in mid-November.  The La Flor Dominicana 2007 Limited Release Factory Press II is the same size as the original Factory Press II (6 1/4 x 54), however the blend has been changed.  This Limited Release Factory Press II will have Dominican filler from Litto's farm in La Canela, the binder will be Nicaraguan instead of the Sumatra on the original Factory Press II.  The wrapper is a beautiful Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro as opposed to the Nicaraguan Oscuro Litto uses on the original Factory Press II. 

The La Flor Dominicana 2007 Limited Release Factory Press II comes boxed in a factory press of 12 cigars.  Litto only made 1500 boxes of these Limited Release cigars.  They are due to start shipping in mid-November.

 

 

 

 

These beautiful, Cameroon wrapped cigars are available in boxes of 8.  There are four different styles of tubos in the box.  Prometheus' God of Fire Carlito, Double Robusto tubo is set for release in November.  Right now we're taking Pre-Orders for them.

The La Flor Dominicana Culebra Especial Maduro has two Natural versions and one Maduro version.  These are what we have in the shop right now.

 

The La Flor Dominicana Culebra Especial Natural has all three in a Natural version.  These should be coming in some time in late October.

 

Finally, the La Flor Dominicana Culebra Gorda is a slightly larger version with a Cameroon wrapper.  It looks like the Culebra Gorda should be here around early November.

 We now have Savoy leather 3-Finger Cigar Pocket Cases.  These pocket cases come in three sizes.  The Robusto and Double Corona sizes will accomodate up to a 54 ring gauge, while the Immensa can take up to a 56.  Savoy pocket cases have soft leather so they will hold your cigars firm without crushing them.  Did we mention, they're only $33.

Just like the melting pot of the United States, the CAO America is a melting pot of tobacco. The filler is 100% ligero from the United States, Italy, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. The binder is Brazilian. The "pinstripe" wrapper leaves are Connecticut Shade and Connecticut Broad Leaf Maduro.

 

There are three sizes of the CAO America available:

Right now we are offering OpusX cigar singles from Prometheus' BBMF and Royal 8 Sets.  We have single OpusX BBMF, Lancero, Reserva d'Chateau, and Royal 8's.  You can still get the BBMF and Royal 8 Sets but if you're looking to pick up just a cigar or two this is the way to get an OpusX.

 

Two new sizes we added to the Cuesta Rey Sun Grown line.  The #55 measures 6 1/2 x 55 and smokes full bodied with a smooth draw.  The Cortez, a 5 1/2 x 48 in a glass tube, is the perfect size to discover the full body and flavor of a Cuesta Rey Sun Grown cigar.

 

Hoyo de Tradicion is a new and unique blend that takes select tobaccos from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic and brings them together to create a complex, medium bodied smoke. The filler is a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Honduran tobaccos that provide hints of sweetness. The Honduran Viso Rosado wrapper brings a hint of spice that really adds to the overall complexity.

Here is a great new golf accessory we just discovered.  The HeaterHolder is a stainless steel cigar holder that snaps on to the rain hood snaps on your golf bag.  Because it is attached to a snap the HeaterHolder will actually rotate while the bag moves, thus keeping your cigar perfectly balanced and off the turf. 

This cigar holder is different than many other holders as it keeps your cigar far from the grass and all the fertalizers and chemicals.   

The new Litto Gomez Small Batch No. 2 is due out some time in September. The filler and binder are all Dominican grown on La Flor's farm. The wrapper is Sumatra Seed grown in the Dominican Republic. Litto personally goes over the selection process and picks only the best-of-the-best tobaccos for his Small Batch cigars. The new version's production is at 30,000 cigars coming in cabinets of 105. That means about 285 boxes available world wide.

 

When Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana told us he was going to make a second edition of the Limitado we asked him if he could set aside some so we could have a few extras after they were all gone.  Well Litto took it a step further and set aside the finest cigars from each days batch.  By the end of the rolling for the Limitado II Litto had set aside 1,000 cigars.  These cigars sat in his humidor in the Dominican Republic for over a year.  When the last boxes of original Limitado II's were shipped Litto asked what we wanted to do with the cigars he had set aside.  There were no Limitado II boxes or bands left so we asked Litto to make up a special box of 20 original release Limitado II's.   Litto personally packed and autographed the boxes.  The result is an autographed box of 20 original production La Flor Dominicana Limitado II with over a year of age on them.  We have 25 boxes of these and are offering both singles and boxes.

 

Davidoff's 2007 Limited Edition release is an aromatic, full bodied, all Dominican robusto.  That's right, a Dominican puro from Davidoff.  They worked for years to grow a flavorful, pristine Dominican wrapper leaf.  Once they could grow the right tobacco they harvested and stored the wrapper leaf for 3 years, allowing for full maturation of the Dominican tobacco.  Davidoff's limited edition cigars always go fast.  We're expecting a shipment around mid-August.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only 1,000 of these limited edition lighters were produced to celebrate Prometheus' 15 years in business.  This is one of their special travel lighters.  The lighter comes in a set that includes 4 God of Fire Carlito, Double Robusto 2005 Tubo cigars.  Price for the lighter and cigars is $175.

 

To commemorate 15 years in business, Prometheus is releasing 300 limited edition travel humidors.  Quantities made are:

Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario cigars are back for 2007.  This is a limited release of 24,000 cigars.  The Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario will come in a very special Cigar Box that can be used as a humidor (humidifier and hygrometer sold seperately) as well as a Travel Humidor.  There are three styles of Travel Humidors and matching Cigar Boxes available, only 800 of these sets will be made.  You get 10 each of the Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario Robusto, Double Robusto, and Toro.  The Travel Humidors and matching Cigar Boxes come in three veneers:

 A complex blend of tobacco with notes of rich coffee and subtle tones fo dark chocolate, the new Oliva Serie V delivers a full flavored taste while keeping an amazing smoothness.  The filler and binder are Jalapa Valley Ligero and Nicaraguan, respectively.  And the Habano Sun Grown wrapper adds subtle hints of spice throughout the cigar.

 

 

 

 

 

A new line of cigars from Avo Uvezian.  The AVO 787 is a unique blend of Piloto Ligero, Seco, and Olor with a specially fermented Piloto tobacco for filler.  The binder is San Vincente, and it is wrapped in a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed leaf.

The cigars is superbly balanced (blended by Davidoff's Master Blender, Hendrik Kelner), aromatic and medium bodied with a combination of coffee and dark chocolate flavors combinded with hints of dried nuts that draw out the cigar's spice and sweetness.

AVO's 787 is available in three sizes each come 22 to a box.

Ashton trademarked the San Cristobal name in the 1980's and just never found the right cigar to pair with the name.  That was until they teamed-up with cigar master, Jose "Pepin" Garcia.  Pepin Garcia has been making some of the most sought-after cigars on the market today. 

The San Cristobal is a Nicaraguan puro that features a dark, oily Nicaraguan wrapper and a rich, full-bodied smoke.  Garcia used his 30 years of Cuban cigar knowledge to create a perfect balance of strength and complexity.  Ashton describes the San Cristobal as possessing, "hearty notes of earth, cedar and spices accompanied by lighter notes of walnuts and dark chocolate."

San Cristobal comes 22 to a box with 6 sizes available.  According to Ashton San Cristobal should be shipping to retailers in August.  The first years production will total 300,000 cigars.

 

 

 

We're proud to announce the addition of a new Toro size format to Davidoff's popular line of Millennium blend cigars.  The new Davidoff Millennium Toro measures 6 x 50 and sells for $18.00/cigar and $180 for a box of 10. 

According to Davidoff our last shipment of Davidoff 100th Anniversary Robusto was the last they had in the warehouse.  We have about 30 boxes left on the shelves right now. 

We also believe the 100th Anniversary Diadimas Finas are starting to run low.  We'll post more information once we know more.   

The 2007 release of God of Fire cigars is here.  This year's release is highlighted by new packaging and some new cigars.  New to the God of Fire lineup is the Carlito, 2005 Churchill; the Carlito, Piramide 2007; and the Carlito, Tubo.

Davidoff Primeros come in tins of 6.  They measure 4 1/8 x 34 and sell for $4.25 per cigar and $24.00 for the tin. 

 

Finally, a Robusto size Davidoff in their popular Thousand Series line.  The Davidoff 6000 smokes mild with a highly aromatic aroma.  The larger ring gauge mellows the Davidoff 6000 to a point where it smokes extremely smooth while keeping the flavors true cigar connoisseurs love.

Tatuaje Cabinet (Nicaragua)
Tatuaje cigars are Nicaraguan puros blended and rolled in the El Rey De Los Habanos factory in Little Havana, Miami. Pete Johnson works with Maestro Tobaquero Jose Pepin Garcia to create the blends that make Tatuaje one of the most sought-after brands on the market today. The Tatuaje Cabinet line is consisted of a few different blends which are all grouped together under the Cabinet name.

 

Tatuaje Cojonu (Nicaragua)
The Tatuaje Cojonu line features a spicey, aged ligero wrapper. The Cojonu line sports a second band with the year the cigars was introduced; not the year the cigar was rolled, as the Tatuaje Cojonus are being regularly produced. The Gran Cojonu has a slightly different blend and comes unbanded. The Gran Cojonu smokes a bit more mild than the rest of the Cojonu line.

 

Tatuaje Havana VI (Nicaragua)
Unlike the regular Tatuajes, the Tatujae Havana VI is rolled in Nicaragua. The binder is Nicaraguan, the filler is a special Nicaraguan Havana VI blend, and the wrapper is a beautiful Nicaraguan Corojo 99. The Tatuaje Havana VI is available in six sizes. All smoke mild-to-medium bodied.

 

Tatuaje RC (Nicaragua)
The RC stands for Retro Cuban. This line features two foil-wrapped perfectos in a medium bodied blend. The abundant length and the perfecto format give these cigars a full bodied, strong start which then mellows to a smooth, medium bodied finish.

 

Tatuaje Reserva (Nicaragua)
The Tatuaje Reserva line is made in very limited quantities. There are three sizes available, each with its own unique blend. The A Uno and the SW sport a viso wrapper while the J 21 is wrapped in a ligero.

 

Leading up to their 25th anniversary Ashton will be releasing various sizes of their new, limited Estate Sun Grown (ESG) cigars. The Ashton ESG is a powerhouse of strength and flavor. The blend is Dominican but what really makes these cigars so impressive is the Dominican Sun Grown wrapper leaf grown by the Fuente family on their Chateau de la Fuente farm in the Dominican Republic.
The first release was the Ashton ESG Churchill 20. This year’s release is the Ashton ESG Robusto 21. These cigars are extremely limited with very small amounts trickling in.
