These cigars look a little different to you?  They should because they are part of a brand new concept by the folks of La Gloria Cubana.  The cigar starts out with a Connecticut Shade wrapper. About a quarter of the way through it turns into a Sumatar-seed Ecuadorian wrapper. The blending is excellent and the two wrapper leafs bring out incredible complexity.

 

 

 

We just received our first order of the new Sencillo cigar.  Sencillo is a Honduran Puro created by Christian Eiora for Prometheus (the makers of God of Fire and Angelenos cigars).  These well balanced cigars are full flavored yet extremely smooth.  The filler is made from Habano de Jamastran and Piloto Cubano tobaccos while both the binder and wrapper are Habano de Jamastran.

Laguiole, the makers of some of the finest cutlery in the world, have reintroduced their exquisite cigar scissors.  Handmade in Laguiole, France the Laguiole cigars scissors are made with 440A stainless steel and feature beautifully carved wooden handles.  These are some of the finest cigar cutters you can find.  We have a couple different styles in the store.

Almost a year ago I had heard Davidoff was planning on making a Dominican puro standard line.  Well I am honored to introduce our customers to the new Davidoff Puro d'Oro.  Davidoff made four sizes in the line, each size is available in 4-Packs, boxes of 25 or individually.  These are set to be released in May.  I have them up for Pre-Order right now.

The big Gran Toro is the smoothest of all the Angelenos. It is one of those rare cigars that smokes easy, yet delivers a complex and interesting blend of flavors. The peppery notes of the Lonsdale are gone, replaced by hints of cinnamon that become more pronounced as the cigar burns down.

 

 

This years AVO Limited Edition cigar is big and bold. The AVO LE10 measures 5 1/2 x 55 and is available in boxes of ten. The blend is absolutely extraordinary. The filler is made up of San Vicente Ligero, Piloto Ligero, Olancho Ligero and Crillo Ligero. The binder is Mexican Sumatra and the beautiful wrapper is an Ecuadorian Special Sun Grown.

 

The "F" stands for fuerte, and "fuerte" means strong! The percentage of the strongest, Esteli Ligero, tobaccos is amped up to deliver just about as much strength as you can handle. These were once limited edition cigars. The response was so great they actually made them into regular production cigars now.

 

These amazing new cigars from CAO are made with Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos and have a flavorful Cameroon binder. The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper gives the cigars a great medium body and amazing complexity.

An amazing grouping of diverse tobaccos gives the new Zino Master Edition 2010 complex, multi-dimensional flavors. The filler is blended with Dominican San Vicente Ligero, Peruvian Seco, Jalapa Especial Ligero from Nicaragua and Honduran Jamastran Seco. The binder is Connecticut Broadleaf and the wrapper is Ecuadorian Criollo.
