This is going to be a great week for new cigars! Today I'm excited to announce the arrival of the new Don Pepin Vintage Edition. Don Pepin Garcia of My Father Cigars brought out the original bands of the very first cigars he produced under the Don Pepin brand. These medium bodied Nicaraguan puros have a beautiful Corojo '99 wrapper leaf that delivers big flavors. I've smoked two different sizes now and have been really impressed. That wrapper gives a nice pop of spice up front, but then these settle in to a wonderfully complex flavor journey. A touch of sweetness in the middle, and then a long finish of rich leather and deep earthy flavors. This is a real gem from My Father. |

Tomorrow we'll see the arrival of the new Davidoff Maduro. It's been years since we've seen a Davidoff Maduro, so I'm planning on sparking one up as soon as that shipment arrives. We have singles and 20-count boxes available for order on our website. I highly recommend you get an order in soon. We've taken a lot of orders for the Toro size already. I spoke to Davidoff late last week and don't have any more Toro's to send to us. The special tobaccos in this blend means this release will only be around for a short time. The wrapper leaf alone has gone through 16 months of fermentation and then two years of aging. The cigars are set to arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, April 4th.
